Eagle Strategy

Tips, Tactics and Techniques

The eagle is a patient and strategic predator, only trading the following long pairs: ETH/USDT, BTC/USDT and ETH/BTC. This is similar to what’s known as triangular arbitrage and will result in equal chances of being long ETH, BTC or in cash at any given time. Sell at peaks and wait for the price to drop to the depths of the abyss before buying MOAR – the eagle is majestic, and never a bag holder.

Deploy all your funds if you don’t want to actively trade and just want to accumulate, or 20-30% portfolio allocation if you want to actively trade the other strategies we describe later (makes a great reserve).

Head over to Finandy.com for automated trading if desired, and we'll show you how below.

  • Note: You can also use other automated trading platforms like Cornix or 3Commas. Not only is Finandy free, but it’s very customizable, and you can trade both spot and futures - either directly from it or via an API from your Binance and OKX accounts. If you are good enough, you can earn from people following your trades (also check out Zignaly to multiply this effort). If you have any questions, we are always available on Telegram, and Finandy has great support as well.

Create your trade conditions. Next are screenshots of our settings for long entries on spot.

TP1 is from the DLI table on the chart for Long Target. Multiply it by 2 and that is TP3. The average of these two values is TP2.

Based on the SLX settings on the previous tab, your position will close if the price drops back down after hitting TP1, but now you have the opportunity to make significant profit if the chart moves quickly in your favor.

Change the dynamics

For a different experience, add shorts to these pairs (see Hyena strategy for alternative spot settings to enable long/short reversal). This dynamic will favor ETH trades with a 33% chance of being long / short ETH, and a 16% chance of being long / short BTC at any given time.
